Since AIDS was first diagnosed a couple of decades ago, AIDS has
been playing a role as a “cruel killer”, which can’t be cured for the
moment unlike most ordinary diseases, only causing people tense and
terrified. With the infection rate increasingly going up, a great many
countries and districts have attached great importance to the prevention
and treatment of the disease.
Influenced by the severe trend and governments’ appeal and
relative policy, I feel my responsibilities as a student of key university in
fighting against AIDS on my shoulders.
It was just the other day when it’s AIDS Prevention Day that I, a
member of Young Volunteers Association, along with my partners, went
to hand out leaflets and in the meanwhile appealed to people to pay close
attention to the disease. Through this experience, I become more
conscious of the importance of fighting against AIDS.
First, we should know about the main three means consisting of
blood, sex, and mother-to-child that one could be infected. Second, make
