  The ability of the immune system to respond inappropriately to antigenic challenge was recognized early in last century.Two French scientists, Paul Portier and Charles Richet    anaphylaxis(过敏性反应)Richet was subsequently awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1913 for his work on anaphylaxis.
