Mawlawi is one of the earliest residents of kafura.  In thirteenth Century a Bantu in Congo Lake kisale, settled and established the Luba Kingdom area.  They established 9 kingdoms here, the most famous is the Qiwa chieftain Karonga established the kingdom of malawi.
