Taiwan banks are allowed to invest in China via HK  On 12 March, the Taiwan government allowed financial holding companies (FHC)  and banks’ overseas subsidiaries to invest up to 20% in Chinese banks via joint supervision. Fubon could be the first mover with a pending application for nvesting 20% in Xiamen City Commercial Bank via Fubon HK (HK$636, notrated), according to the Commercial Times.......
