Apollo, a Bold Challenge for America’s Future
Americans have always pulled together in tough times.
Using ingenuity, hard work, and can-do spirit, we created
the strongest industrial base the world had ever seen during and after World War II. In the sixties,
we rose to President Kennedy’s challenge and achieved a goal that seemed beyond our
reach: We put a man on the moon in less than a decade. It’s time to roll up our shirt sleeves again.
