at first glimpse of your title, I am a bit confused by what you want to write for your article.After spend some seconds in carefully reading your title, I realize what you want to write. From my perspective, the biggest trading volumn between the 2 countries lie in the labour intensive industries which goods are exported from china and high tech industries,imported into china. For labour intensive industries, trading with china can gain great profit and reduce many cost as for most labour intensive industries.for example, the apparel industries, the most profit portion such as designing a cloth  lies in USA and chinese worker only to produce a cloth with high cost and little margin.I think you can analysis from this perspective. And you mentioned metallurgy industries, such as steel industries,but i am quite unacquaintance with this industries,the only knowledge is that such industries are heavy polluted and have surplus in production capacity. so i can not give you any comment. For this article, the basic theory is somewhat called 国际分工,sorry for my poor memory,and you can describe the theory and set some examples you mentioned in the thesis.

In addition, China was a labor intensive country and the U.S. was a capital intensive country. As technology improved, China labors have become much more productive and a little more expensive than what they were a couple of decades ago. In contrast to the U.S. labors, China labors are still cheaper, so we can apply the theory of comparative advantage between China and the U.S. The U.S. companies could offer technlogy and capitals to train China labors to work for them with lower costs than train American workers.

Moreover, I don't know much about th theory of International division of labor. Although China and the U.S. have different cultures, languages, and beliefs, they should figure out an way to better communicate with each other and make mutual profits.

You probably wanna ask the opposite: Is trading with US good for China?

I have read some articles and many critics argued that trading with China is bad for America. Therefore, I considered to write this academic essay to refute these critics viewpoints prior to the beginning of my junior year in college.

这第一句话是我引用的资源，老外就是这么写的，你也不能改。他的意思是说，中美两国的贸易总额在2007年时4100 亿美元，其中包括产品和服务。

第二句纯属我当时的个人观点，思维不够缜密。呵呵当时只是对经济感性趣才写的这篇文章，没有学过很多经济课程。

u paper has a wide cover of the fact associated with trading,but I think u need to dig in a little bit,to show us the inner relationship and more importantly,the philosophy ideology.As doing reaserch is kind of revealing  the  theory behind facts,that's why a DOCTOR is being called PH.D
