There would be a Handbook for your course online, and a hard copy would also be provided when you register later. Why not check it out?
As for what you called "future", to be honest, it is really hard to get an ideal job these days in UK, whatever you study. Moreover, it is said that accounting is RELATIVELY more sought after.
