2. Are assumptions onthe stochastic nature of risk factors a serious source of model risk?

3. Most of the methods inquantitative risk management rely on the assumption that risk can be adequatelymodeled by stochastic processes. Having the experience of the recent and formercrises in mind, can we still keep up this assumption for a responsible riskmanagement in a financial institution? What alternatives do we have?
