Assume the market is competitive and its size is fixed, so sharing my secret recipe will significantly reduce my profit due to an increase in the number of my competitors. Under this condition, should not the rational person divulge his own investing methdology.

If the market size keeps increasing, and the economic growth rate is larger than total wealth growth rate of all the people, thus, revealing my secret will not significantly affect my investment but build my reputation.   

Okay, if I have different investing strategies. And the market size and competition are similar to that in the first situation. I may publicize one of my strategy to direct the market move. Wait until the trend is mature, I will go with the other, which is specially designed for this situation to make money.

经济增长速度和居民财富增长速度本身应该不是一个概念吧，要不然为什么会有“藏富于民”一说，为什么有“国进民退”一说。

经济模型这些东西本身就是理想化，但也不能太简化了。。
