this is my first  time come here ,great !
American manufature factories dropping out from China to USA.That is rising wages which played an important role and a modest appreciation of the CRY against the USD.In some other sectors, cost of tranportantion and stability of supply chains are also important factors.

Not at home during the weekend. Catching up now.

I dont know why I don't quite agree about what the author said. I don't think he did enough research before he put his arguments out.

American companies or other multinational companies build factory in China, not Vietnam or Mexico, it is not only because of cost or cheap labour. That is only one of the reasons. They choose China, mainly because of 'EFFICIENCY'. Chinese labour force is efficient, Chinese government is comparatively efficient when they are dealing with multinational companies, the whole Chinese market is much more efficient than any other developing countries.

As multinational companies, when they made decisions, I bet, they wont rush to a result like this author. Also they will definitely be very thoughtful instead of thinking only one side of the issue - COST.
