Dr Zou has six-year industry working experience in statistics and investment banking, and he is a qualified CPA. Before joining City University of Hong Kong, he taught at University of Wales,Swansea and Cardiff University, UK, and Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He is the two-time joint winner of the 2002 and 2003 Shin Insurance Research Excellence Award at the Geneva/International Insurance Society (New York-based). He also received the 2007-2008 CityU College of Business Research Award. Dr Zou's research work appears in Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Risk and Insurance, Financial Management and other international academic journals. He also published 17 articles in Economic Research and other premier Chinese academic journals. Dr Zou's research interests include the corporate finance,risk management, China, and financial services.
