在这里我只想发表一下，我进论坛的感受，帖子回答的七嘴八舌，就是不回答正题，我是确实有难才来求助的，不是来聊天的。对于IRT的普及问题，我也只能回答“没有师傅”，新生事物的初学是非常晦涩，且内心排斥的，对于我一个研究生来说，我处理数据的时间大概有三个月，我的老师一点都不懂这块，我这三个月内心是非常忐忑的，对数据及其结果是很迷茫的，我可能看书了解初步就得三个月，最后可能看的还用不上，那我们的毕业论文怎么办，所以我们还得硬着头皮来求助，有难向别人求助的滋味真的不好受，希望你们有时间有能力解答，就帮我们这些新人解答，这样我们才会慢慢爱上数据处理，不至于想到就恐慌，这些数据处理才会人才辈出。我在写论文过程中和求助论坛中，感受到了苦逼的生活，无助加无奈。希望你们有空能回答一下我的问题，我必感激不已。

well actually let me tell u the truth. At least in the united states, there are a bunch of Chinese ppl working on IRT, some of them are really prominent. My advisor, Li Cai, from UCLA is for sure an outstanding one. I am saying that because u can try to connect with ppl, or even shot email to the authors of the books that u read. I am not sure if they do have time to reply and work on your specific question(s), but if you do it and ppl do have time for it, then u will get sth back anyway.
