Prior to joining the university, he was a management consultant at CSC Consulting. He received a BS degree in Mechanics and an MS in Control and Systems Science, both from Peking University, and a PhD in Operations Research from MIT. He teaches courses at undergraduate, MBA, and executive levels. His recent research interests are information and incentive issues in supply chains, and gaming behavior in queues. He has published in Management Science, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Games and Economic Behavior, Experimental Economics, and Decision Support Systems.
