Design of Experiment abbreviated as DOE, it plays an important role in improving the performance of the production process in engineering field.In the early technique development, by using DOE, you can:
1. improve production.
2. reduce variability, more consistant with your goal.
3. reduce development time.
4. reduce total capital.
As far as I know, it mainly includes:
1.Analysis of Variance(方差分析)
2.Regression Analysis(回归分析)
3.Non-variable Test(非参数检验)
4.Block Design(区组设计)
5.Factorial Desin(析因设计)
6.Response Surface Design(响应曲面法)
There're many methods in each part, and they are more often used in quality department of some companys, and you can do DOE by using MINITAB(a statistics software) more easily.
