Project description:
Mathematical game theory is a vast subject, with connections from mathematical logic and the foundations of mathematics to mathematical economics (where the behaviour of traders in an economy is like a competitive game). The mathematical theory used ranges from logic, through linear algebra to probability and measure theory. This project would take a look at some of the different kinds of games that have been treated mathematically - including simple two person games like Nim and Hex, infinite games and matrix games which model economic activity. For each type of game there is a body of theory that answers questions like "Is there a winning or optimal strategy for playing the game, and if so what is it?" For matrix games there are two famous theorems - due to von Neumann & Morgenstern, and one that gained the Nobel prize for John Nash (as in the film "A Beautiful Mind"). The project would investigate the theory of various types of game and provide illustrations of how to "solve" them - this is the term for finding the winning or optimal strategies if they exist.
想做点和经济有关的
搜索文献时候发现大多数还是和经济有关的 数学涉及得很少
所以想问问大家 能不能给点方向意见 或者推荐点资料
