The Subjunctive Mood
You are very careful.
Please be careful.
I wish you were more careful.

希望你更细心些.
1. 陈说语气(the Indicative Mood)—陈说事实;
2. 祈使语气(the Imperative Mood) –提出请求.命令等;
3. 虚拟语气(the Subjunctive Mood) –表示主观愿望和假想虚拟情况.
在英语中,伴随说话人意图不一样,动词需用不一样形式,称为语气.英语中共有三种语气.
真实条件句
If it rains tomorrow, we won’t have the P.E lesson.
If I were you, I would study English hard.
If we had no class today, I would go shopping.
(But we have classes today.)
