2.desire （1）n. 渴望，欲望，渴求        have a desire for sth./to do sth. eg.He has a strong desire for knowledge.    他有强烈求知欲。（2）v. 希望得到，想要        sthdesire  to do sth        sb to do sth        that sb. (should) do （从句谓语动词用虚拟语气）
