Summary
Pregnancy-related mortality rate estimates were produced at the county level in the United States, and by racial and ethnic population, for each year between 2000-2019. These estimates were generated using population and deaths data from the National Center for Health Statistics.
This dataset includes the following:
CSV files of county-, state-, and national-level estimates of pregnancy related mortality rates for each age group, sex, year, and racial and ethnic population (non-Latino and non-Hispanic American Indian or Alaska Native [AIAN], non-Latino and non-Hispanic Asian or Pacific Islander [Asian], non-Latino and non-Hispanic Black [Black], Latino or Hispanic [Latino], and non-Latino and non-Hispanic White [White]). Blank cells are for masked estimates.
