Professor: Erik Dietzenbacher (Groningen University)

Erik Dietzenbacher is Full Professor in Interindustry Economics at the University of Groningen. He is the editor of Economic Systems Research (the journal of the International Input-Output Association, IIOA, the most important journal at input-output fields), co-editor of Estudios de Economía Aplicada, and associate editor of the Journal of Regional Science . He is also Affiliate Research Professor at the Regional Economics Applications Laboratory of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has published the three volume set Input-Output Analysis (with Heinz D. Kurz and Christian Lager, 1998), Input-Output Analysis: Frontiers and Extensions (with Michael L. Lahr, 2001), Wassily Leontief and Input-Output Economics (with Michael L. Lahr, 2004), and numerous articles in refereed journals (such as American Economic Review, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Regional Science, Regional Studies, Economics Letters, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Review of Income and Wealth, Journal of Comparative Economics, European Journal of Operational Research). As chairman of the scientific program committee, he has been responsible for the program of the input-output conferences in New York(1998), Montreal (2002) and Sendai (2006). He is a fellow of the research school SOM and the Netherlands Network of Economics.
