现将近期研讨会信息公布，吾会成员可以参考。
经院校友亦可有所参考。

1、国际研讨会：
会议名称：Global Seminar "Transportation and Global Sustainability"
举办地：日本国东京千叶区
时间：2007年11月20日——11月22日
参与方式：提交英文论文
费用：在日期间所有费用由IATSS（国际交通运输安全协会）支付；
但是只有被选作paper presenter的人的机票费用才由IATSS支付，
如果你只被邀请参会而没有被邀请做paper presenter，机票费用需要自己支付。
北京到东京的往返机票价格在3500——5000。
语言：英语（对口语有相当要求。）
建议：EST同学可以写关于road pricing (taxing policy)方面的东西
注意事项：注意本会的schedule，时间比较紧张，所以可以采取team work的合作形式。

The International Student Seminar on Transport Research (ISSOT) is an annual event that provides opportunity for students and young researchers to exchange views and experiences on transport-related fields in an international and interdisciplinary setting. This year's theme is on transportation and global sustainability. If you or any of your friends have research related to this field, please try and submit an abstract. The conference will be supported by IATSS, and presenters of selected papers will be granted a scholarship to attend this conference. We welcome a wide variety of fields; from vehicle technologies to logistics, road pricing (taxing policy) to consumer behavior etc.

We are delighted to inform you that International Student Seminar on Transport Research (ISSOT) is now seeking interested participants to join the 13th ISSOT Symposium in 2007, sponsored by the International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) in Japan.

This year, it will be held from November 20-22 in Chiba (near Tokyo), Japan.

The following is the theme and two sub-themes for this year.
"Contribution of Transportation Sector toward Global Sustainability"
Sub-themes: 1. Advances in transportation technology and infrastructure
2. Management of mobility system and behavior

As for detailed information, please access ISSOT website at http://www.issot.org/. Please download the Invitation and Call for Papers, Registration Form and Instruction for Papers.

We expect to collect many high-quality papers from applicants who come from various fields of research.
Time schedule for paper application is as follows:
20 July 2007 (Fri) Deadline for abstract submission
1 August 2007 (Wed) Notification of abstract acceptance
12 September 2007 (Wed) Due date for full paper submission
2 October 2007 (Tue) Notification of full paper acceptance
20 – 22 November 2007 (Tue-Thu) Symposium days

2、兩岸青年學者論壇
總主題：兩岸經濟現代化發展之比較分析
主辦單位：中國臺灣“行政院大陸委員會”
承辦單位：中華青年交流協會、世新大學經濟學系

論壇分主題：
1. 經濟發展：包括經濟成長與所得分配、產業結構變遷、區域發展
2. 企業產權結構的轉變：包括經濟自由化與國家干預、產權結構的改變與調整、 鄉鎮企業的發展與變遷
3. 城鄉二元經濟體制：包括城鄉新聯繫、非農化指標、城市化指標
4. 內生性經濟成長：包括生活品質、知識創新、制度變革
參與方式：提交中文論文

論文大綱投稿注意事項：
1. 截止日期：2007年8月17日。
2. 大綱內容：五百字以內，建議以中文撰寫。
3. 投稿方式：請填妥論文大綱投稿報名表(如附件)，並利用電子郵件傳送給承辦單位。
4. 審查作業：承辦單位將邀請相關領域之學者專家，進行論文大綱審查，並盡速通知作者是否排入議程。原則上作者年齡限為45歲以下。
5. 論文全文截止日期：2007年9月28日。有優厚稿費。
