The School of Economics at Sichuan University, funded by a long-term "National 985 Leading Disciplines Innovation Project" of the Ministry of Education is now offering several positions at all levels in all fields (fields in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Econometrics, Statistics, Development economics, International trade, Corporate finance and Public Finance are of particular interests). Teaching will be conducted in Chinese or English at the undergraduate, M.A. and Ph.D.levels. The position requires a Ph.D. (or expected completion in2013) and candidates who have a strong interest in research are particularly encouraged to apply. A normal teaching load is three courses per year with only two courses in first two years for tenure track assistant professors.

    Compensation package includes very competitive salary, research funds, housing allowances, plus standard fringe benefits. Appointees are expected to engage in active research and teaching. Candidates with great potential or well-established credentials will be considered.
