下面这个案例分析的案例。

High Value Tradings Ltd (HVT) with its place of business in Shanghai distributed its catalogues with various types of goods and listing prices on 6 June 2011. Great Joys Ltd (GJL) with its place of business in Sydney sent HVT a fax requesting it to ship 9,000 pairs of quality sports shoes listed in the catalogue at the listed price of CFR Sydney Incoterms 2010 in three installments on 16 June 2011. The first installment was shipped through AAA Shipping Line’s vessel of Mikado, and a clean bill of lading was issued.

When the goods arrived at the port of destination, the carrier released them without requiring GJL to produce the bill of lading. When the cargo was discharged, it was discovered that substantial part of the goods was damaged. GJL refused to pay. HVT delivered and lost control of the goods but did not get paid.

Please advise HVT and give your reasons.
