master of public accounting.  i think it is a prog in US.  i am assuming you are starting to apply for grad school.  pretty competitive field, what really matters is where you want to be.  i think cpa is really regional, meaning if you go to grad school in some place you will probably end up in that place for some time.  if you are interest in tax, i would recommend you to go to boston, as far as i know there are a lot of school are awesome in tax law and that kind of stuff. harvard has pretty darn good law program in tax.  i know there are a bunch of target school that are not well-ranked.  they are really respected by local employer if placement is your priority.

我认为，MPACC没必要读，国内似乎也不太看好专硕，听说就业上挺受歧视的，会计什么的，其实读完本科就够了，而且也不要读那些ACCA班，那直接把ACCA教材当教材学的，几年下来，就学会个ACCA，ACCA什么的都是自学的，么必要搞到学校去，所以我同样认为MPACC没必要。

MPACC主要是针对在职会计人员或会计师招生的，他们有丰富的工作经验和社会阅历，缺乏理论知识的积淀，因此如果想进一步高升或跳槽的话，读MPACC不失为一项可行的决策；对于应届毕业生最好还是考学术型会计学硕士。
