APPLICATION OF NONPARAMETRIC METHODS OF ESTIMATING
EFFICIENCY, EFFECTIVENESS AND PERFORMANCE
OF DOMESTIC BANKS
The article grounds the expediency of applying the data envelopment analysis method (DEA)
for estimation of efficiency of the Ukrainian banks. For this, the comparative analysis of methods
and models, which are used for estimation of the banks' efficiency is carried out, and the experience
of their application in the developed countries is studied. Estimation of the efficiency, the
effectiveness, and the performance of the domestic banks is completed basing on the two-steps DEA
model. For the more detailed analysis of the obtained results, the "efficiency-effectiveness" matrix
is offered for application.
