In a busy end to 2013 we released the first full release of the
Stat-JR package and a new release (2.29) of MLwiN.
Stat-JR 1.0.0 has now been released. Previously only available as a beta
version, Stat-JR is a new statistical software package (funded by the UK
research council, ESRC) which has a range of features, including multiple
interfaces, its own MCMC engine, and the ability to inter-operate with a
variety of other statistical software packages. More details about Stat-JR,
including how to order it, can be found on the Stat-JR homepage (
http://www.bristol.ac.uk/cmm/software/statjr/). Stat-JR is free to existing
MLwiN users and also to UK academics.
MLwiN version 2.29 has also been released and contains several bug fixes
listed at
