Title: Investment Analyst

Responsibilities

1.      Collecting financial data using on-line and other sources;

2.      Coordinating and maintaining databases;

3.      Creating and maintaining computer spreadsheet models;

4.      Listening to and summarizing investment conference calls;

5.      Miscellaneous equity projects including writing parts of research reports;

6.      Analysing companies based on their published financial statements and annual reports;

Requirements

1.      Majored in Finance, Economics and related;

2.      Excellent computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing and graphics;

3.      Analytical skills and an interest in learning about the investment process;

4.      Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

5.      CFA holder or candidates are highly welcome.

Title: Senior Investment Analyst

Responsibilities:

1.      Collecting financial data using on-line and other sources;

2.      Coordinating and maintaining databases;

3.      Creating and maintaining computer spreadsheet models;

4.      Listening to and summarizing investment conference calls;

5.      Miscellaneous equity projects including writing parts of research reports.

Requirements:

1.      Bachelor's/Masters degree with a major in accounting or finance.

2.      Strong accounting or financial skills required.

3.      2+ years of related work experience preferred.

4.      Excellent computer skills including: spreadsheets, word processing and graphics.

5.      The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail.

6.      Analytical skills and an interest in learning about the investment process

7.      Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

8.      Enrolment in the CFA (AIMR) program will be an added advantage.

Title: Team Leader (Investment Research)

Responsibilities:

1.      Handle multiple teams of Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts during the project engagements. Span is usually 10-20 people, and reporting is to the Group Manager. Your responsibilities include the following:

1.1        Project planning and ongoing monitoring of effort and timelines with the help of Gantt charts and workflow tools

1.2        Lead the teams in structuring the client problem and formulating hypothesis

1.3        Performance evaluation of the team working with you

1.4        Lead the business development activities (offshore) for each of the clients you are assigned to.

1.5        Participate in campus hiring programs across the country and lateral placements at our premises

2.      Coaching and mentoring

2.1        As a career manager, you will be required to mentor 6-10 analysts. This is an active role in the career of the people you are mentoring

2.2        Take initiative and ownership of training modules and provide thought leadership to analysts

3.      Other initiatives

3.1        Since Evalueserve is a rapidly growing firm, there are several internal challenges to streamline the processes and systems. You will have ample opportunities to take initiatives. These include infrastructure management, knowledge management, PR activities etc.

Requirements:

1.      Sound understanding of financial statements, extensive exposure to financial model building, knowledge of different valuation metrics, and exposure to financial writing;

2.      3+ years of experience as a team leader;

3.      High level of English proficiency;

4.      MBA with a specialization in Finance

5.      Additional qualification like CFA would be an added advantage though not mandatory.

6.      Knowledge of database like Bloomberg, Reuters will also be given additional weightage.

The candidates with language capabilities, like Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Pilipino, are highly in need.
