What we need:


The Marketing Analysis Manager willconduct quantitative analysis for clients in support of the development ofeffective marketing programs. This role will be responsible for managingprojects, timelines and deliverables as well as mentoring junior analysts,contributing to their technical and career development. The primary missionwill be to standardize processes in order to maximize efficiency, increase thespeed of deliverables, and decrease errors.


Day to day responsibilities will include,but are not limited to:


·      Conducts advanced quantitativeanalyses of the marketing effectiveness of clients; and builds sophisticatedstatistical models to segment customer population, to enhance upgrading anddeepen retention strategies, and to lift profitability by improving customerchannel behavior through marketing drivers.

·      Develops, writes, and presents strategicrecommendations and projects that directly address clients' toughest questions.Participates in brainstorming sessions that identify new marketingopportunities for clients.

·      Designs, develops, implements,and maintains analytical software programs to support analytical reports andtools. Assists in developing internal systems that consistently provide allclients with standard reporting and analysis.

·      Extracts and processes largequantities of data from data warehouses and other data marts in support ofassignments. Applies data mining and analyzes marketing and demographic data.Tracks and evaluates customer acquisition efforts, market trends and customerbehavior.

·      Works across the business unitsto leverage leading edge technology and meets client and client team requestson time and with accuracy.

·      Organizes and maintainsresearch information.

·      Stays abreast of industrytrends and technological advancements by staying informed of advancements inthe industry and developing vendor relationships to maintain competitive edgein the marketplace.

·      Manages project tasks,timelines and deliverables.

·      Mentors junior analysts,contributing to their technical and career development.



Experience:


Qualified individuals possess the Merkleattributes of being smart, curious, committed to vision, passionate,fun/pleasant, an achiever and having a sense of urgency. Qualified individualsalso have:


·      Proven ability to build trustand faith with clients in order to advance relationships

·      Proven ability to work resourcefullyand analytically in a time-sensitive environment

·      Three years of experience plusa Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, or related quantitative fieldrequired. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, orrelated quantitative field, plus at least 5 years of experience as a marketingor strategic analyst will be considered.

·      Position requires knowledge of SAS, SPSS, SQL programming, multi-variate statistics, logistic regression,multiple regression, Excel and Access.
