     我有一个关于护照到期日的问题麻烦问一下大家的意见。

     我将参加14年6月7日的3级考试，我的护照到期日是14年6月9日，因为要继续在国外，已经申请护照延期，因为是因公护照的关系流程比较繁琐，使馆告知5月27日可能才能收到新的护照，因此目前我不知道新的护照到期日是什么时候。考虑到新护照出来以后现有护照将被剪角或作类似处理，如使用新护照将出现和准考证上护照到期日不一致的问题，我已经咨询了CFA，答复如下：

Thank you for contacting us about your June 2014 CFA Level III exam. All candidates who wish to register and sit for the CFA exam must have a valid, non-expired international travel passport. There are no exceptions to this policy. Once you receive your new passport, you must complete and submit the Identification Information Change Request form available at http://www.cfainstitute.org/Forms/name_change.pdf. You’ll need to submit appropriate documentation as described on the form so that we can make the necessary update. Deadline for CFA Program candidates to submit their requests is at least three weeks prior to the exam date. After the deadline, you will have to submit any information change requests as soon as possible. Though we cannot guarantee your record will be updated, we will be working very diligently to process any requests received at that time. You will receive email notification once your information has been updated and when your new admission ticket will be available.



Our records indicate that your current passport will expire on 9 June 2014. Alternatively, it might be possible for you to use this passport to sit for the exam. A stamped (w/ “cancelled” or “not valid”), clipped, or punched passports are acceptable as long as they meet the following criteria:



- Are current on exam day; cannot be expired

- Include a recognizable photograph

- Are an original document; photocopies will not be accepted




根据协会的解释，前半部分是说拿到新护照后尽快申请修改信息之类的，根据后半部分的意思，各位认为是否可以理解为即使现有护照已经被剪角或打孔作废，只要是带照片的正本，且考试当日没有过期，即我这种到期日晚于考试日的情况，就可以持剪角护照入场考试？
