An annual stipend of 6,000 for a master student is really not high.
Think about accommodation, transportation, food and other miscellaneous expenditures.
A monthly 500 investment is really not enough.
At the first glance, 10,000 seems much higher. However, Ph.d candidate normally has a family to support. That means the real effectiveness is even lower.
I wish the national stipend be set to a rational amount.
