锻炼锻炼也是好的   有的硕博毕业答辩都语无伦次。

这也一刀切 行政意识太强

At the first glance, it is not a big deal.
Boss is satisfied with it,
Graduate student is OK with it, and
Students don't have privilege of dissent.
Not to mention the president is always to busy to even notice this.

However, it may illustrate our problem.
Not enough respect to the rule, to the budget or even to the regulation.

The accumulation of numerous minor deviation, may constitute material effect.
We really need to think about it seriously.
