This book is a great overview of the use of JMP software to perform elementary statistical methods. It is packed with examples and takes the reader through the step-by-step menu clicks necessary to execute each analysis task. This book would be an excellent companion to the main text in an elementary statistics course in which JMP software was available to the students. It would also be of use to a wide range of researchers and scientists, both in academia and industry, who need to perform elementary statistical analyses on their data. One of the greatest strengths of the approach used in this book is that the reader gets an explanation of each statistical method, along with a contrast of the method with other similar statistical methods. This presentation strategy prevents the JMP user from applying statistical analysis techniques incorrectly.
