Encouraged by continued strong demand from occupiers, the prime office market in Northern China has been robust, performing well during 2Q08. The prime office markets in East China and South China experienced an upswing trend with retail market performing favourably. However, the earthquake in May had a negligible impact on Western China’s (especially Chengdu) office and industrial markets.
