frequency-domain analysis.  Frequency-domain analysis is analysis of
        time-series data by considering its frequency properties.  The
        spectral density and distribution functions are key components of
        frequency-domain analysis, so it is often called spectral analysis.
        In Stata, the cumsp and pergram commands are used to analyze the
        sample spectral distribution and density functions, respectively.
