第三章第二题  求解,或者谁有答案么,发上来看一下,急,跪谢Estimate a hedonic regression for the HousePrices data, which contain prices
of houses sold in Windsor, Ontario during July, August and September of 1987.

a. Fit a multiple linear regression model to the logarithm of the price, using all remaining

variables as regressors.  Experiment with models containing lot size, number of

bathrooms, number of bedrooms, and stories in logarithm and in levels, respectively.  

Which model do you prefer and why?

b. What is the expected price of a two-story house of 4,700 square feet with three

bedrooms, two bathrooms, a driveway, no recreational room, a full finished basement,

without gas heating or air conditioning, and two-car garage, that is not located in a

preferred area?  Report also a prediction interval.

a) Use t-test, F-test and R square to select an appropriate model.
b) It hints that the required predictors include lot size, # of bathrooms, etc. Use the estimated model that includes these predictors from the least square outcome. Substitute the given values and you can predict the log houseprice
