(1) Production and trade data of Chinese firms: labor, capital, R&D (e.g., expenditures on research), industry identification (i.e. industry versus agriculture), location and exports of those firms. The more information you have the better it will be.

(2) Data of Chinese firms that export and that don't export;

(3) The data must cover the period during which China is expanding its trade and the longer the data the better it will be. Better from 1980s to now
