The publishers demurred. My second choice was ‘Feasibility, Optimality and Fixed Points”. While accurate, it did not identify, as the publisher noted, the intended audience. We settled at last on the anodyne title that now graces this book></p><p> </p><p>The kinds of mathematical questions are discussed.
