» Italy's largest insurance company Assicurazioni Generali SpA planned to purchase a 30 percent stake in Guotai Asset Management Co.  at a price of 100 million euro, Guotai officials told Caijing on July 8.
» The proposed transaction is subject to the approval of China's insurance regulator.
» The officials said that the two sides would cooperate in investment products such as QDII and QFII.
