　　约翰内斯堡证券交易所(Johannesburg Stock Exchange，简称JSE)成立于1887年11月8日，是随着1886年维特瓦特斯兰德金矿带的发现应运而生的。成立之初主要是为金矿开发筹资，此后融资方向开始多元化，目前矿业股仍占相当地位，但工业和金融股已成为交易所的主角。

　　截止2006年底，有480多家公司在约翰内斯堡证交所上市，总市值达到5800亿美元。

Post-Trade Services Risk Management

As the settlement authority for the South African Exchange Traded Equities Market, and clearing house for the Exchange Traded Derivatives Market (via JSE Clear), the JSE plays a key role in mitigating systemic risk in the South African financial market. It does so by ensuring the efficient clearing and settlement of trades, thereby reducing the risk of a single default impacting other counterparties and contaminating the market.

In order to effectively perform this function, the JSE has put in place rigorous risk management frameworks and practices. The Post-Trade Services (PTS) Risk Management team is responsible for the continued relevance and appropriateness of these practices and for ensuring the robustness of the JSE’s clearing and settlement ability. The main focus of the team is counterparty credit risk, credit contingent market risk and liquidity risk.
