王其文，北京大学光华管理学院管理科学与信息系统系教授。 1968年12月北京大学数学力学系计算数学专业毕业，1990年8月获得美国马里兰大学商学院管理科学与统计学博士。从1979年以来在北京大学任教。
任北京大学管理科学中心副主任、中国管理现代化研究会常务理事、中国系统科学学会理事；
曾任北京大学光华管理学院党委书记、副院长、中国管理现代化研究会决策模拟专业委员会主任。
王教授擅长将管理科学的理论与方法通过计算机技术转化为实际应用。
他主持开发的《企业竞争模拟系统》以及相关的实验教学成果，获得了北京市教育教学成果（高等教育）一等奖（2001）和教学成果奖二等奖（2001）。该系统已经应用于200多所高校，并使用此模拟系统成功举办了14届全国MBA培养院校企业竞争模拟大赛。
王教授承担和以负责人之一参加的国家自然科学基金项目有“全球化背景下中国地区协调发展及区域政策分析模型研究”（国家自然科学基金重点项目，70233002，2003.1-2006.12）、“中国股市数据非线性分析与交易策略获利能力研究”（国家自然科学基金面上项目，70471013，2005－2007）等；承担了“高新区二次创业重大问题研究”项目（国家科技部，2005）、“中国产业损害预警模型群”项目（国家商务部，2008.8-2009.5）。
王教授重视中国企业管理实践经验的总结，多年来担任全国企业创新成果评审委员。
王教授的研究领域为:路径优化、决策模拟、收益管理、人工神经网络方法、资源与环境管理、高新技术开发区与区域经济。
