I'm trying out R and would like to first import a time series variable into R. As you can see in the picture attached, the upper part with large numbers, i.e., 38,430.18, 38,134.14, etc., are my real dataset; however, when I use ts() command to define the data as time series, all the values become integers in the lower table, 1, 2, 3, ....21, 22, 53, 54,...,88,...

What do you think could be wrong and how can I fix it?
