2015年诺贝尔经济学奖得主为Angus Deaton（安格斯·迪顿）。他因在消费、贫穷与福利方面的研究贡献获奖。Angus Deaton 1945年出生在苏格兰爱丁堡，是一位微观经济学家。他曾就读于爱丁堡Fettes学院，并在剑桥大学赢得了他的学士、硕士和博士学位。Deaton曾是英国布里斯托尔大学的经济学教授，1983年转到普林斯顿大学。目前，他是伍德罗·威尔逊学院德怀特·D·艾森豪威尔国际事务教授和普林斯顿大学经济系经济学和国际事务教授。
