根据微信公众号:ACCA考友论坛最新消息统计,参加9月考试的共有40,000名学生。
More than 40,000 ACCA students took the opportunity to sit/resit the exams in the first-ever September sitting.
The results were pretty mixed. P1 sitters achieved the top pass rate at 48%, and P7 the lowest at 29%.
In the latest PQ magazine F9 sitters questioned how doable the exam was in three hours. Some sitters were worried that the paper has become a 'lottery'. The September pass rate of 35% seems to back this claim up!
The ACCA's new director of learning, Mary Bishop, said: "We are delighted with the response to the additional exam sitting. The numbers of candidates taking exams in September far exceeded our expectations, demonstrating there is a real demand from students and employers for our new exam sittings."
The ACCA also revealed that some 1,850 students completed their final papers in September, and have taken a big step towards becoming members.
