Lenovo reports 3Q FY09 net loss of US$100 million: Lenovo announced 3Q FY09 results that were materially below our reviseddown estimates post the announcement of the restructuring plan. Sales came in at US$3,592 million, down 17% Q/Q and 20% Y/Y, and 9% below our estimate. Shipments declined in all geographies, while operations slipped into losses in international markets; the extent of the losses in EMEA and Asia Pac were extremely high. China profitability remained resilient as Lenovo took some share despite a weak market.
