When you want to read an English paper, you should firstly identify whether this paper is great related to your research topic. The convenient method to conduct this process, in my opinion, is to read the abstrat as fast as you can.
If the paper is exactly what you want, you should then read the introduction or literature review to learn what fields previous studies focused on. PS: If you are fairly fimilar with the previous studies, you may skip this process.
Then, you can read the results to justify if you are interested in the conducted study.
If you want to know more and conduct a similar study, you could read the extra parts of the paper in detail.
Happy your scientific journey!
