I have very much enjoyed reading Alex's book. It is written in an entertaining style, combining clear presentation of the subject without too much technical, theoretical statistics. I especially liked the chapter "The p Value and the Base Rate Fallacy" in this respect.
Generally speaking, the only quibble I have is that subject matter is presented in fairly long tracts: an improvement would be to break these down into smaller sections.But that's a small price to pay for such an enjoyable text.
