SECURITIES DIVISION
Full-Time Analysts hired into the Securities Division will work in either a Sales or Trading role. Sales serves
as a critical link between the firm’s issuing and investing clients and ensures the successful distribution of
new issues of corporations, governments and supranational borrowers, and executes secondary market
transactions. Traders are market makers who quote prices at which equities and fixed income products,
currencies and commodities can be bought or sold under different market conditions.

EQUITIES:
Analysts will assist and support the following functions:
• Making markets in equity and equity-linked securities and executing trades
• Portfolio hedging and restructuring
• Assisting clients in raising capital in public and private markets
• Structuring derivative transactions
• Engaging in proprietary trading and arbitrage activities
• Developing trading models and algorithms
• Prime Brokerage and securities lending

FIXED INCOME, CURRENCY and COMMODITIES (FICC):
Analysts will assist and support the following functions:
• Trading bonds, money market instruments, bank loans, asset-backed securities, currencies,
commodities, and other products
• Advising our clients on raising capital and achieving other financial objectives
• Structuring derivative transactions
• Investing in distressed assets
• Engaging in proprietary trading and arbitrage activities
