货币金融学 is more a government policy issue, a central bank's business. That is economics

Finance is a daily business of corporation.
I would suggest: Monetary policy. But you need to consult a economic professor who has a foreing degree.


Modern managements such as finance, like sciences and technologies, were brought from abroad.  Many Chinese terminologies were first translated from English by somebody not necessary an specialist ( say a reporter), then used by those who are not able to read/check original language; then  cycle in classroom like: teach --> student --> teacher --> …   

A side issue. Many things are obsolete at daily life, but are still treated as fundamentals. An interesting Question is, no offence, How many of you will be a president of people’s Bank of China And how many presidents of this bank know 货币金融学. When you read a book written in Chinese terminolgy, who know what it is in english; so read both of the same subject for less confusion.
