Yes, you have to put "time" into your Cox regression model.

Cox regression belong to "Survival analysis" and "logistic regression" belongs to "regression". Both of them can be used to determine the "independent predictors" of your "interest events". But if "time" is an important factor of your "interst event", it's better to use Cox regression.
