One possible reason is that your SAS does not match your Microsoft office version, such as SAS is 32 bit, but your Microsoft is 64 bit. or SAS is 64 bit, but your Microsoft is 32 bit. Please try to download PC server file and install it. see the linkage for SAS 9.3 and sas 9.4
