aren’t tested in the Sample Exam P problems. Since Sample Exam P reflects the

Level of knowledge you need to have to pass Exam P, chances are that these

difficult distributions won’t show up in your exam. As a result, you can probably

ignore these distributions

very accurate
I took 2009 September Exam P at Hong Kong
No such kind of nagative binomial , Weibull, Pareto, beta, Chi-square, and bivarate normal
I totally ignored these distributions

For hypergeometric, the question is very straight forward and the pmf function formula is all you need to know
the question is straightforward for hypergeometric

P.S... only 1 question about hypergeometric was appeared

The question was something like: (real question!)

There are 15 people , 10 are government offical and 5 are non-government
Suppose you want to form a 4 people committee

What is the probability for having AT LEAST 3 government offical in that committee

Answer: (10 C 3 * 5 C 1) / 15 C 4 + 10 C 4 / 15  C 4 = 0.077 ....... etc
